Forever Young by Rod Stewart

May the Good Lord be with ya down every road you roam
And may sunshine and happiness surround you when you're far from home
And may you grow to be proud, dignified, and true
And do unto others as you would have done to you
Be courageous and be brave
And in my heart you'll always stay
Forever young (forever young)
Forever young (forever young)
May good fortune be with you, may your guiding light be strong
Build a stairway to heaven with a prince or a vagabond
And may you never love in vain
And in my heart you will remain
Forever young (forever young)
Forever young (forever young)
For ever young
For ever young
Yeah!
But whatever road ya choose
I'm right behind you, win or lose
Forever young (forever young)
Forever young (forever young)
For ever young
For ever young
For! For! ever young
For ever young

It's so curious: one can resist tears and 'behave' very well in the hardest hours of grief. But then someone makes you a friendly sign behind a window, or one notices that a flower that was in bud only yesterday has suddenly blossomed, or a letter slips from a drawer... and everything collapses

While we are mourning the loss of our friend, others are rejoicing to meet her behind the veil.

"I think about how much I miss her, and start to feel sorry for myself..... but then I think about all the people who never got the chance to meet her, and I start to feel sorry for them."
